A working hypothesis is a hypothesis that is provisionally accepted as a basis for further research in the hope that a tenable theory will be produced, even if the hypothesis ultimately fails. Like all hypotheses, a working hypothesis is constructed as a statement of expectations, which can be linked to the exploratory research purpose in empirical investigation.

The last step in Lean-UX validates the hypothesis to determine if the Feature truly provides the anticipated value. Teams implement telemetry along with each Feature that monitors the MMF’s benefit hypothesis and determines if the expected benefit has been achieved.
User experience (UX) design provides a theoretical understanding of how users interact with websites. UX design is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. Everything humans interact with has an experience associated with it.
Root Cause Hypothesis is an educated guess as to the cause of a problem in a process. Root Cause Hypothesis is part of the Analyze Phase in DMAIC. In order to form Hypotheses regarding the causes of process issues, one must conduct Root Cause Analysis which involves questioning and investigating to move past symptoms to the the true root of the problem.
